We are delighted to share that our 14th Annual Senior Citizens Day held on April 24, 2024, was a huge success with 147 seniors in attendance. The event was made even more special with the presence of some amazing speakers and vendors who had great information to share with our seniors.
We owe our heartfelt gratitude to multiple businesses in the metro area for their generous gifts that made our raffles and bingo prizes even more exciting.
Our seniors relished a scrumptious meal from Salvo’s, courtesy of Global Venture/LNG, which was served by the kind volunteers from God’s House Church.
As part of our efforts to support our seniors, we distributed 200 bags of groceries and over 250 bottles of juice, thanks to the generous donation by CRC We Care, We Share. Once we had filled the 200 bags, we contacted the OLPH Saint Vincent DePaul Society, as recommended by our victim assistance coordinator. We were informed that the OLPH Saint Vincent DePaul Society had enough items to also forward to St Patrick, St Cletus, and Our Lady of Prompt Succor.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who attended, donated, and volunteered at the event. Your support and contributions made this event a grand success.
