On February 10, 2022, two Louisiana District Attorneys earned recognition as recipients of the 2022 Crimefighters District Attorney of the Year Awards.
The district attorneys are Charles J. Ballay of the 25th Judicial District (Parish of Plaquemines) and Antonio “Tony” Clayton of the 18th Judicial District (Parishes of Iberville, Point Coupee and West Baton Rouge).
Crimefighters is Louisiana’s largest victims’ rights organizations that represents more than 12,500 victims or family members of victims throughout Louisiana. The organization has been an influential voice toward strengthening Louisiana’s criminal justice system and caring for victims of crime.
