The American Legion Post 329 of Belle Chasse and District Attorney Charles Ballay partnered to bring Easter Baskets to 30 children in our parish.  Each year Bryan and Sheryl Ruiz volunteer to help organize and put together the baskets that were distributed.  This year’s baskets included chocolate treats, a special toy, eggs filled with candy, and a chocolate Easter Bunny. Baskets were delivered to the children on April 14, 2022.  The American Legion, under the leadership of Commander John Richardson donated the baskets to children who are in most need and with the help of the District Attorney’s Office, the children were able to receive their baskets in time for Easter.
