Periodically the Plaquemines Parish District Attorney’s Office buys equipment to be used by law enforcement agencies in our parish to do their work. Over the years the DA’s Office has purchased laptop computers for police vehicles, speed radar guns, video cameras, and other needed equipment.
The DA’s Office recently purchased five radar guns for PPSO to use in its traffic enforcement work. The radar guns purchased for PPSO before did not have the latest technological updates that these new ones have.
The DA’s office is always glad it can assist PPSO in performing its work in order to keep our parish safe.
