The American Legion Post 329 of Belle Chasse and District Attorney Charles Ballay partnered to bring Christmas gifts to 45 children (14 families) in our parish. Each year Bryan and Sheryl Ruiz volunteer to help organize and wrap the gifts that were distributed. The American Legion, under the leadership of Commander John Richardson, donate the gifts to children/families who are in most need and with the help of the District Attorney’s Office, the children are able to receive the gifts in time for Christmas.
