On Monday, December 11, 2023, Koby Dillon, 29 from Avondale, LA was found guilty by a Jury of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm While in Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
As a result, of this being Dillon’s 2nd offense of Possession of a Firearm while he possessed narcotics he was sentenced to extra time.
On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Dillon was sentenced to 20 years of hard labor with the Department of Corrections.
The case was prosecuted by Jason Napoli and Judge Michael Clement issued the sentencing.
