On May 25, 2021 the Grand Jury was convened in Plaquemines Parish for the matter against Steven Lafrance, 38, from Belle Chasse. Mr. Lafrance was indicted on Child Sex Trafficking and Attempted First Degree Rape. Mr. Lafrance has other prior sex offenses of Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile, Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and Video Voyeurism.
His arraignment will be before Judge Michael D. Clement at a later date.
