The American Legion Post 329 of Belle Chasse and District Attorney Charles Ballay partnered to bring Easter baskets to 35 children in our parish. Each year Bryan and Sheryl Ruiz volunteer to help organize and wrap the baskets. The American Legion, under the leadership of Commander John Richardson, donate the baskets to children who are in most need and with the help of the Victim/Witness Coordinator Rae Riley of the District Attorney’s Office, the children are able to receive the baskets in time for Easter.
