On March 9, 2021, Isaiah James Perkins, age 27, of Buras, LA, plead guilty to 3 counts Distribution of Methamphetamine and was sentenced by Judge Kevin D. Conner to serve 10 years at hard labor with the LA Department of Corrections. This is to be served consecutive to the probation revocation for his convictions of Simple Burglary and Possession of Vyvanse and Hydrocodone where he was sentenced to 2 years at hard labor.
