On April 16, 2019, deputies from the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office found Tracy Aaron Taylor, 32, Port Sulphur, LA, in possession of cocaine and marijuana in a residence located in the 29000 block of Louisiana Highway 23. On February 11, 2020, Taylor, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (cocaine and marijuana). Judge Kevin D. Conner sentenced Taylor under Article 893 and to serve two years of active probation, to pay a fine of $750.00 and court costs, to pay $750.00 to the Public Defender’s Office, pay $100.00 to PPSO for laboratory fees, to pay $100.00 for drug education, to pay $100.00 for the D.A.R.E. Program, to enroll and complete a substance abuse program, and to obtain a GED.
